When my son regressed into autism at age three, I refused to believe there was nothing I could do. I wasn’t a doctor, but I was his mother — and I was determined to try everything within my reach to help him.
This is the exact sequence I started with, and the changes I saw along the way.
1. Fish Oil (Omega-3s)
I began with high-quality fish oil to support brain health and reduce inflammation. Why I chose it: Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for brain function, and I wanted to give his nervous system the best possible building blocks.
What I noticed: Over time, his focus improved, and I felt like I was giving his brain the nutrition it needed to heal.
2. Diet change
Next, I overhauled his diet — removing certain foods and focusing on nutrient-dense, whole ingredients. Why I chose it: I believed that reducing inflammation and supporting gut health could help his overall well-being .What I noticed: His energy became more stable, and meltdowns were less frequent.
3. Lithium Orotate
This was a turning point .Why I chose it: Low-dose lithium orotate is sometimes used for mood stability and neurological support. What I noticed: His anxiety around other children began to fade. He was more willing to join in, and social situations became less overwhelming.
4. Super Serotonin
Finally, I introduced Super Serotonin to support his mood and sleep. Why I chose it: Serotonin plays a role in both emotional balance and rest. What I noticed: His sleep improved significantly, which in turn made his days calmer and more connected.
The Milestone That Meant Everything
One day, he looked me in the eyes again. That moment — his eye contact returning — was the sign I had been praying for. It told me we were on the right path.
A Note for Other Parents
This is our story, not a prescription. Every child is different, and what worked for us may not work for everyone. But I share it because I know how lonely and hopeless those early days can feel. If you’re searching for answers, know that there are steps you can take, and progress is possible.
